Tech - Standards Defined


With so many phrases and technologies used today, it is is easy to get lost in them all. To help stay focused on what is suitable for your needs we have put together some news feeds outlining the most commonly used -

STANDARDS DEFINED:

MIL Standard:

Products bearing the MIL standard have been designed to comply with stringent U.S. Military Standard specifications and procedures (MIL-STD) for high performance and reliability.

ATEX Radios:

Designed to provide high quality communications according to the ATEX standard for safe, reliable use in environments containing potentially expolosive gas and combustible dust.

IP67:

A classification of a product's protection against water and dust. IP67 products can withstand damage from fine dust and immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

DMR:

Digital Mobile Radio is a European telecommunications standard developed as a repalcement for analogue Professional Mobile Radios.
